About E-board Positions

Managing editor:
The managing editor works with the editor-in-chief on final decisions regarding submissions, the publishing schedule of the magazine, and event scheduling. The managing editor also reviews submissions accepted by section editors before they are finalized by the editor-in-chief. In addition, the managing editor also presides over e-board meetings and final decisions when the editor-in-chief is not present.

copy editor:
Design manager:
The copy editor will take on the roles previously held by the arts editor and writing editor. the copy editor will review submissions of writing and visual art, and coordinate with the managing editor and editor-in-chief on what submissions the magazine accepts. (Click here to apply!)
The design manager is responsible for combining Iris submissions into a cohesive issue. The design manager is largely responsible for aesthetic choices and designing the look of the issue. This requires some experience with photoshop, canva, photopea, or other photo editing software, and will require collaboration with several other members of the e-board. A creative interest and drive is super important; this will be a very creative role. (Click here to apply!)
Treasurer:
The treasurer maintains and organizes funding from the college! They will attend Student association meetings as needed, handle financial responsibilities like purchasing supplies for events, and maintain ownership of the magazine's venmo account. (Click here to apply!)
